herman ray norton, jr.

​Herman Ray Norton, Jr., 52, of Edinburgh, passed away November 18, 2022.  He was born November 4, 1970 in Columbus, Indiana to the late Herman Ray Norton, Sr., and Gladys Carol Petty Harmon.  He was married to Kimberly Plumlee, and she survives.  He is also survived by his sons Steven (Taneal) Norton, of Mt. Auburn, and Braxton Norton, of Edinburgh; daughter, Jenna Carol Norton, of Edinburgh; brother, Richard Myers, of Edinburgh; sisters, Donna Neri, of Columbus, Heather Norton, of Columbus, Michelle Norton, of Kentucky, Angel Norton, of Kentucky, and Lisa Densen of Edinburgh; four grandchildren; and step-mother, Lisa Norton, of Taylorsville, Kentucky.  He was also preceded in death by his daughter Kyra Warner.  He was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend to the many people who will miss him dearly.  Services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, November 22, at Who So Ever Will Community Church.  Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the service at the church.  Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Funeral Care, Edinburgh.
