Michael Anthony Riley, Sr., 60, of Covington, Kentucky, departed this life on May 14, 2024. He was born on September 9, 1963, in Cincinatti, Ohio, to Margaret Stepp and Melvin Riley. Mike is survived by his father, Mel (Sandy) Riley; children, Michael (Terri) Riley, Jr., Tiffany Kapczynski (Josh) Whitis, Tabitha (Roland Hawkins) Riley; sister, Patricia Hicks; brothers, Brian (Tara) Riley, Mark (Crissy) Riley; grandchildren, Reese Kapczynski, Michael Riley III, Kolter Hawkins, Declan Hawkins, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margie Stepp; sisters, Kathleen Riley and Shannon Rutan; and brother, James Riley. Mike was passionate about landscaping and being outdoors. He will be remembered for his laugh and outgoing personality. Mike is mourned by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace. A graveside service will be held at Garland Brook Cemetery on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 10:30 A.M. Friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate Mike's life. Michael Gene Adair, 48, of Edinburgh, passed away on May 6, 2024. He was born September 23, 1975, in Franklin, to Dallas Gene Adair and Mary Angela Petty. Michael was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. He is survived by his parents; his son, Derek Adair, of Edinburgh; and brothers, Brad Adair, of Edinburgh, and Tony Merchant, of Edinburgh. Private arrangements have been entrusted to Community Funeral Care, Edinburgh. Michael D. “Doodle” Burton, 74, of Edinburgh, passed away May 5, 2024. He was born September 4, 1949 in Franklin, Indiana, to the late Donald Burton and Imagene Burton. He married Julie Burton who preceded him in death on January 24, 2013. Doodle was a skilled carpenter in the construction trade and a member of the Laborers' International Union. He is survived by his sons, Kyle (Shannon Balinger) Nottingham, of Franklin, Spencer (Megan Broaddus) Walker, of Seymour, and Michael (Ginger) Burton, of Taylorsville; daughters, Tammy (Mike) Byrd, of Greensburg, and Natosha (Justin Shulty) Burton, of Columbus; sister, Connie; 17 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy Burton and Donald Burton. Services will be 12:00, Noon, Friday, May 10, 2024, at Who So Ever Will Community Church. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 A.M., until the service at noon. Burial will be in Garland Brook Cemetery, Columbus. |
