Cynthia “Cindi” Lawson, 63, of Franklin, passed away at her home with her family by her side on Saturday, April 30, 2022. She was born August 1, 1958 in Franklin to the late Francis and Betty (Thurston) Cecil. She married Charles “Randy” Lawson on February 14, 1987 in Edinburgh, and he survives. Cindi loved people and especially her family and friends. She was always the one who could be counted on to be there for everyone she knew and loved. She loved shopping and Brown County trips in the fall with her sisters, daughters, and nieces. She loved greatly and she was well-loved in return. She was a dedicated medical coder at Johnson Memorial Hospital for over 30 years, retiring in 2017. She is also survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Jacob) Cochran of Franklin; brother Francis (Tammy) Cecil of Edinburgh; sisters, Lucy Shewmake of Franklin, Peggy Cecil of Whiteland, and Jan (Vern) Grider of Edinburgh; grandchildren, Madilynn, Brooklynn, and Kamden; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brother Kevin Cecil; and niece, Erin Shewmake. Funeral services will be 12:00, Noon, Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Who So Ever Will Community Church in Edinburgh. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service at noon at the church. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh. Terry Lee Waltz, 66, of Franklin, passed away April 30, 2022. He was born August 9, 1955 in Franklin to the late William Carl Waltz and Wilma Jean Waltz, and she survives. He owned and operated Country Shadows Woodworking for over 25 years, retiring in 2020. He enjoyed hiking, exploring the state parks, camping, and traveling. Terry loved his family and friends and especially treasured the time he was able to spend with his grandchildren. And, like any reasonable person, he loved pork tenderloin sandwiches. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts have been suggested to the Artcraft Theatre in Franklin. Donations may be placed at historicartcrafttheatre.org/donate. He is also survived by his son, Brent (Helena) Waltz of Beech Grove; daughter, Jill (Roscoe Bean) Waltz of Memphis, TN; brothers, Nathan (Kim) Waltz of Edinburgh, and Mark (Peggy) Waltz of Franklin; and grandchildren, Vanessa, Zach, Rowan, Gabby, and Cassidy.
