Pamela Sue Streeval, 71, of Edinburgh, passed away September 29, 2023. She was born June 26, 1952, in Columbus, Indiana to the late Osbie Streeval and Mable Roller Briddle. Pam was the kindest person one could ever meet. Her sons were used to hearing from people who their mother had helped. They would say, “. . . if it wasn’t for your mom.” She loved to help others in need—people who were broken, or, lost, or hungry. She touched countless lives. She is survived by her sons, Andrew (Tonya) Streeval, of Nineveh, Glenn Garrett, of Edinburgh, and Nathan Garrett, of Edinburgh; brothers Charles (Barbara) Streeval, of Edinburgh, Timmy (Mickey) Streeval, of Nineveh, Jimmy (Monica) Streeval, of Edinburgh, Kevin (Cindy) Streeval, of Edinburgh; sisters, Deborah (Larry) Sluder, of Tennessee, and Sharon Fultz, of Taylorsville; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and honorary mother to Lawrence Turnbloom, of Edinburgh. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Larry, Donald, and Osbie Streeval; and sisters Phyllis Chandler, Linda Evans, and Nancy Burton. Services will be 12:00, Noon, Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Who So Ever Will Community Church. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service at the church. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh. Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Funeral Care, Edinburgh.

Frieda Mae Williams, 78, formerly of Marshall, Illinois, passed away September 9, 2023, in Columbus, Indiana where she has lived the past few years. She was born August 7, 1945, in Terre Haute, to the late Walter Fred and Lucy Martina (Goucher) Nenneman. She graduated from Wiley High School in Terre Haute, and then from Indiana State University in Terre Haute. Her first teaching job was in Kankakee, IL. She married Lance Aaron Williams in December 1968, in Biloxi, Mississippi, and he survives. They moved to Hastings, NE where she taught 5th and 6th grade. She is survived by her daughter Shauncee (Larry) Johnson, of Columbus; son Chancelor (Angela) Williams, of Woodlands, TX; grandchildren, Jordan, Jacob, and Ashleigh Johnson, and Tinley and Gage Williams, and sister, Mary Lavey, of Terre Haute. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Leroy Nenneman. Frieda was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. Her interests included ballroom dancing, spending time outside in nature at her home, tending to her many flower gardens, and anything to spoil her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her. Services will be 6:30 PM, Thursday, September 14, at St. Louis Crossing Church, 6271 E 800 N Columbus, IN 47203. Pastor Tim Dillingham will officiate the service along with Frieda’s grandsons Jordan and Jacob. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until the service at the church. Private burial will be at Cottage Hill Cemetery, Brazil, Indiana. Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Funeral Care, Edinburgh. |
