The Veteran's Honor Funeral Packages
The Veteran's Honor funeral packages include the following services and merchandise:
* Basic Services of Funeral Director & Staff
* Embalming
* Other Preparation of the Body (Grooming/Dressing/Casketing)
* Transportation from place of death
* Visitation and funeral service at church chapel (no additional cost for an evening of visitation)
* Transportation to chapel & cemetery
* Casket (selection from caskets listed below)
* Memorial Stationery (register book, memorial folders, acknowledgment cards)

* Visitation and funeral service at church chapel (no additional cost for an evening of visitation)

Honor Package with Patriot 18 Ga Casket $4,750
Package price includes an additional $500 discount from the normal package price.
The U.S. Government will provide the following:
1) Burial flag.
2) Honor detail to fold and present the flag and play taps at the funeral service or cemetery.
3) Grave marker.
4) Burial without cost (including outer burial container) in national cemetery--in certain circumstances.
4) Compensation for the funeral services under certain circumstances--for disabled and retired veterans.
The State of Indiana will provide the following:
1) Burial without cost (including outer burial container) in Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
2) $100 towards the cost of the funeral payable to the next of kin.
3) $100 towards the cost of setting a government marker at private cemetery.
The Local American Legion Post will provide the following:
1) Detail of men from the Legion Post to conduct 21-gun salute and the funeral location or the cemetery.
2) Folding of the flag and presentation of spent cartridges from 21-gun salute.
For all of these services, a copy of the veteran's military discharge document is required (DD-214). Part of our services is to arrange for all of these benefits on behalf of the surviving family of the veteran.
