Susan Marie Bieker, 83, born June 9, 1942, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Floyd and Hilda Todd, entered the presence of her Lord on October 5, 2025, in Franklin, Indiana. Susan began her career with TWA before dedicating several years to raising her two children, Douglas and Denise. Once her children were grown, she returned to the workforce at Prudential and later at Health Link, retiring in 2006. She had a lifelong love of travel and theater, volunteering often at The Fox. As a grandmother, she delighted in creating special memories with her grandchildren— whether exploring museums or enjoying family trips. After retirement, Susan cherished her time with friends—playing cards, exercising at the YMCA, sharing dinners, and traveling. Susan accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, and one of her most treasured moments was the renewal of her baptism in the Jordan River during a trip to Israel. She lived her life as a testimony of faith, family, and friendship. She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and devotion to those she loved. She is survived by her son, Douglas (Kimberly) Bieker of Edinburgh, Indiana, and her daughter, Denise (David) Rose of Wildwood, Missouri; as well as her former son-in-law, Allan Osias. She leaves behind five grandchildren whom she dearly cherished: Dalton Bieker, Lauren Osias, Jacqueline Osias, MacKenzie Bieker, and Ryan Rose. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Hilda Todd. Her family takes comfort knowing she is in the presence of her Savior. They are deeply grateful for the prayers, love, and support from friends and family during this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Susan’s honor. Calling will be held at Christ Fellowship Church, 125 Lind, Edinburgh, Indiana, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 7, 2025. A graveside service will take place at Lake Charles Park Cemetery, 7775 St. Charles Rock Rd, Breckenridge Hills, Missouri, at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 8, 2025.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Funeral Care, Edinburgh.

I worked at TWA for many years with Susan. She was a sweet, caring friend.
