nicholas e. whetstine

Nicholas Eugene Whetstine, 71, of Morgantown, passed away September 29, 2024.  He was born May 4, 1953 in Franklin, Indiana to the late Charles Whetstine and Helen Jeanette Whetstine Richardson.  He is survived by his sons, Heath (Pam) Whetstine, of Nineveh, Matt (Tonie) Whetstine, of Franklin; daughters, Nichole (Phillip) Haddock, of Fruitdale, and Sophia (Marty) Emerson, of Edinburgh; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brother, Dough (Barbara) Whetstine, of Franklin; and step-mother, Elizebeth Whetstine.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Jennifer Whetstine; son, Jason Whetstine; and sister, Scarlet Whetstine.  He was employed by the Indiana State Highway Department for many years.  He is dearly loved by his family and friends and he will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.  Private arrangements have been entrusted to Community Funeral Care, Edinburgh.
