Julie Ann Finley, 66, of Edinburgh, passed away November 19, 2025. She was born February 20, 1959, in Columbus, to the late Alan W. Peterson and Ethel Massey Hammock. She married Vince Finley on June 29, 2001, in Franklin, and he survives. Other survivors include her daughter Ginger (Joshua) Music, of Edinburgh; stepdaughter, Angela Sharp, of Kokomo; sister, Dawn (Danny) Cupp, of Hardinsburg; grandchildren, Jayson, Jaxon, and Gemma; stepmother, Bessie Peterson; and niece, Amber (Chris) Simmons. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Terry Peterson; and nephew, Jason Cupp. Julie was a fun and loving woman who enjoyed the most out of life. She loved spending time with her husband riding on the motorcycle through the country, spending time dancing with him, and listening to him sing. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, except for watching their cartoons! She loved watching them wrestle around with her husband and spending the holidays with them. Her favorite holiday was Halloween and dressing up and watching horror movies while passing out candy. She would throw her daughter Halloween parties during her elementary school years. She enjoyed going to yard sales and spending time with her daughter. She loved watching her daughter play sports throughout her school years. She had a strong bond with her family especially her sisters. For many years she worked hard for her father at the truck stop. She would then work at the truck stop and run a concrete business with her sister and daughter. She truly enjoyed painting the statues and making them as lifelike as possible. She was a very special and unique woman who loved her family very much and did her best to live life to the fullest with fun and laughter. She will be greatly missed however those who knew her well can find comfort in knowing that she is now in peace and no longer in pain. May she finally be able to fully rest and get back to smiling and dancing wherever she may be. A celebration of life will be Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Cliff's Bar & Grill, Edinburgh. Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Funeral Care, Edinburgh.
