Janet G. Lind, a.k.a. MacGyver, 92, Pittsboro, passed away December 29, 2025. She was born October 9, 1933, in Columbus, Indiana, to the late Harold and Bernice (White) Gibson. She is survived by her daughter, Cassandra Lind, of Pittsboro. Janet was also preceded in death by her son, Bradford Lewis Lind. She was a devoted wife and mother. Janet was a faithful “horse show mom” who enjoyed the outdoors especially water and snow skiing, boating, fishing, and horseback riding. She was employed for many years as a secretary for Warner Brothers. Private interment in Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh. Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Funeral Care, Edinburgh.

Cassie, I am so sorry to hear about your mom. She was a beautiful person. I loved how she was always there by your side at the horse shows. She will be greatly missed. Prayers and hugs for you my friend.
