​Mark D. Tungett, 59, of Taylorsville, passed away April 29, 2025.  He was born April 12, 1966, in Franklin to the late Fenton D. and Alice (Burton) Tungett.  Mark will be missed by his family and everyone who knew him.  He was a powerful basketball forward player and loved watching sports of all kinds.  He enjoyed fishing and all things concerning the water.  He worked in the concrete business all of his life, and was employed for several years by CASE Construction.  He also liked to relax with family and friends, watching movies and eating good food.  More than anything, Mark loved his children and his family.  He is survived by his sons Brandon Tungett, of St. Louis, MO, Nickolas Tungett, of Seymour, and Marcus Tungett, of Taylorsville; brother, Fenton A. “Pee Wee” Tungett, of Shelbyville; and sister, Mary Ann (Travis) Weddle, of Edinburgh.  A funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Stacey Tucker at 12:00, Noon, Monday, May 5, 2025, at Who So Ever Will Community Church, Edinburgh.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m., until the service at the church.  Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Funeral Care, Edinburgh.

​Karen J. Sneed, 77, of Edinburgh, passed away April 11, 2025.  She was born June 2, 1947, in Salem, Indiana, to the late Hiram and Carmen (Swinford) Gabbard.  She is survived by her son, Michael (Christina Chandler) Sneed, of Edinburgh; daughters, Vicki (Gary Sewell) Bryant, of Edinburgh, and Connie (David Hobbs) Allison, of Seymour, Indiana; brother, Pete Gabbard, of Columbus; sister, Candy Campbell, of Edinburgh; grandchildren, Courtney Bryant, Dakota Bryant, Taylor (Adam) Phelps, Garrett Allison, Gabriel Sneed, Brooklyn Sewell, and Brenna Craft; and great grandchildren, Aiden, Ava, and Kylenne.  She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Dalton Allison; and several siblings.  A visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 15, at Who So Ever Will Community Church, Edinburgh.    Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Funeral Care, Edinburgh.
